Hi there,

As you might be aware that there is no permanent cure for COAD since COAD results from irreversible damage to lungs after long years of smoking. Salbutamol inhalers (broncho-dilators or one you are taking) are usually advised to reduce shortness of breath symptoms with smoking cessation. Besides, lifestyle modification helps patients to help minimizing symptoms. Hope this helps.
