Truth or Myth - Bed rest is your best bet if you have low back pain

It is commonly believed that bed rest helps people with low back pain. Nothing could be further from the truth. Restricting yourself to the bed can only make the problem worse. In fact, it is better for people with sudden onset of low back pain to remain active. The most common cause of low back pain is muscle or ligament strain, improper lifting, or a sudden awkward movement. Continuing all your daily activities along with some care at home would not only help you recover faster but also help you have better flexibility at the end of the day.
